(compared with steel at 13.3kg/m). Centre to centre
702mm. Comes with spigot connectors bolted in. Extra spigot-connector pins or bolts required to join beams together end to end.

Lattice
Beam — Welded aluminium beam.
Connected with spigot connectors and spigot connector pins or bolts.

Spigot Connector — for lattice beam. chromate-passivated steel. |

Spigot Connector Pin — fits through holes in the ridge unit or lattice beam and the spigot connector to pin them together. Zinc plated steel. |

Ridge Unit — Welded aluminium. Joins beams together at a pitch of 15° using spigot connectors. Ridge pieces for temporary roofs at other pitches can be made to order. Ridge pieces are available for 450mm lattice beams & 750mm diamond or X-beams. |

Roofing Coupler ('Wriggly') — zinc-plated pressed-steel fitting. Connects corrugated sheets with a pitch of 76.2mm and a thickness of 0.5mm to 0.7mm to scaffold tube purlins. The maximum combined thickness of sheets that can be clamped together is 3.0mm. Individual sheets must be connected with a minimum of two couplers and must be installed in accordance with BS5973:1990. |
