Scaffolding Boards

Orchard Hire and Sales supply scaffolding boards made from selected European white-wood timber. Options available to order include fire retardancy, preservative pressure treatment, 1.5m support centre boards, scaff-plating, branding, name-stamped end bands and non-standard lengths. A cutting service is available if specific lengths are required at short notice.

Timber Scaffold Boards

British standard scaffold boards BS 2482:2009 graded to a 1.2m maximum support centre (670kg per m²). Boards are banded at each end. 38mm deep by 225mm wide. Stocked lengths: 3.9m, 3.0m, 2.4m.

Pressure Treated Scaffold Boards

Scaffold boards, pressure treated against rot. Suitable for gardening and landscaping use. Supplied un-banded. BS 2482:2009. Visually graded to a 1.2m maximum support centre (670kg per m²). The treatment used is Tanalith E. For further information on the treatment, click here.

Timber Scaffold Battens

Timber battens for Cuplok type scaffolding. BS 2482:2009 graded to 2.5m maximum support centre. Banded each end. 63mm deep by 225mm wide. Stocked lengths: 2.450m. Other lengths to order: 1.750m & 1.250m. Battens for Kwikstage type scaffolding also available to order.

Timber Sole Board / Sole Pad

225mm x 38mm x 450mm. For distributing the load under the base plates of scaffold tube standards in contact with the ground.

Scaffold Board End Bands

Replacement end bands for scaffold boards. One inch zinc-plated pressed steel band with clawed ends. Stamped with wording "support every 1.2m max". Optional company name embossing and logo on end bands for orders over 1000 (14 characters maximum).

Batten End Bands

Replacement end bands for Cuplok or Kwikstage battens. Two inch zinc-plated pressed steel band with clawed ends. Optional company name embossing and logo on end bands for orders over 1000 (10 characters maximum).
